The woman in her 40s suffered serious non-life threatening injuries
Gardaí are appealing for witnesses following a hit and run in Allenwood on the 2nd of February.
At 11.15am, Gardaí and emergency services responded to a crash on the R415 in the Derrymullen area.
A pedestrian in her 40s, was struck by a car which failed to remain at the scene.
The woman was taken by ambulance to hospital with serious non-life threatening injuries.
Any road users who may have camera footage including dash-cam and were travelling in the area at the time are asked to make this available to Gardaí.
