A driver who “played chicken” with oncoming traffic has been banned from driving for eight years.

According to the Sunday World, the court heard he had 44 prior convictions.
Rafferty admitted to dangerous and uninsured driving during incidents in October and November 2020.
Defence said he had a troubled past but was now sober, in therapy, and working in prison.
Judge McHugh imposed a four-month jail term, consecutive to a lengthy sentence he is already serving.
He was also fined €2,000.
