Beginning on 3rd December
Late-night train services operating over the 3 weekends prior to Christmas & New Year's Eve have been announced - including Maynooth & Kildare lines.
The services will begin on 3rd December.
- 00:20hrs from Pearse serving all stations to Maynooth
- 00:50hrs from Pearse serving all stations to Drumcondra, and all stations from ParkWest to Kildare
Outside of Co. Kildare:
- 00:30hrs from Pearse serving all stations to Howth
- 00:30hrs from Connolly serving all stations to Greystones
- 00:40hrs from Pearse serving Tara St, Connolly, and all stations from Howth Junction to Dundalk
The services will run:
Friday 3rd & Saturday 4th December
Friday 10th & Saturday 11th December
Friday 17th & Saturday 18th December
Services for late night, Friday, 31st December have also been announced.
- 01:20hrs from Pearse serving all stations to Maynooth
- 01:50hrs from Pearse serving all stations to Drumcondra, and all stations from ParkWest to Kildare
Elsewhere:
- 01:30hrs from Pearse serving all stations to Howth
- 01:30hrs from Connolly serving all stations to Greystones
- 01:40hrs from Pearse serving Tara St, Connolly, and all stations from Howth Junction to Dundalk
Irish Rail note, "additional late-night DART and Commuter services for this year are timed to be aligned with the midnight closure of bars, restaurants and other venues in the hospitality sector, under current COVID-19 measures".
"Fares are unchanged from regular services, meaning customers can use Leapcard and buy cash fares at normal rates. Furthermore, weekly, monthly and annual season tickets are valid on late night services, so season ticket holders will be able to use the services at no extra charge."
The railway firm adds security personnel "will be on board to ensure customer safety."
