Irish Water is holding meetings with North Kildare representatives today, on water quality and supply difficulties.

They are being reported by householders in Clane, Prosperous, Coil Dubh, Robertstown and their hinterlands.

Social Democrats Cllr., Aidan Farrelly, says the number of people in these areas relying on bottled water is shocking.

Cllr. Farrelly joined Eoin Beatty on Wednesday's edition of Kildare Today to discuss the meeting, and his motions before the June meeting of the Clane Maynooth Municipal District.
