Kerry Group, whose Global Technology and Innovation Centre is based in Naas, has announced it's acquisition of Hare Topco for over €850 million.
This morning, the food company released a statement noting it will acquire Hare Topco, trading as 'Niacet', "a global market leader in technologies for preservation", for €853 million, "on a cash-free, debt-free basis".
'Niacet' has customers in over 75 countries worldwide, including manufacturing sites in the US & The Netherlands.
The deal is expected to close by the end of the third quarter of 2021, "subject to customary closing conditions and regulatory approvals".
