The firm, which has outlets in Athy, Naas and Newbridge, it will close its stores on St Stephen's Day and New Years Day in order to give staff a break.
It announced the news to its 18-thousand staff in Ireland and the UK today.
The retailer says it wants to recognise the service given by colleagues in particular during the last 18 months, and give them a chance to spend extra time with their families.
