Kildare Gardai have seized a vehicle which turned away from a checkpoint.
The operation was mounted by Naas Roads Policing Unit.
Gardai say when the vehicle was stopped it was found that the motorist was an unaccompanied Learner Permit holder with no L-plates displayed.
The car wws seized and fines and penalty points issued.

Gardai say the vehicle, which was towing a trailer, took a "sharp bend too fast & partially driving on the wrong side of the road. "
