Kildare On Yellow Ice Warning From 11pm Tonight As Pet Owners Urged To Keep Animals Indoors

People are being advised that there could be animal welfare issues if they're kept outdoors and motorists may face difficult travelling conditions.

A status yellow low temperature and ice warning has been issued for 10 counties.

Kildare, Carlow, Kilkenny, Laois, Longford, Meath, Offaly, Westmeath, Wicklow, Tipperary will come under the advisory from 11pm until 8am tomorrow morning.

People are being advised that there could be animal welfare issues if they're kept outdoors and motorists may face difficult travelling conditions.

A status yellow snow and ice warning has expired for the North West but remains in place in the North until midday.
