Kildare Rents Jump By 10.1%, With Locals Forking Out On Average €1,983 Per Month

On August 1st, there were just over 2,200 homes available to rent across the country.

In Kildare, market rents were on average 10.1% higher in the second quarter of 2024 than a year previously.

The average listed rent is now €1983, up 45% from the level prevailing the covid 19 pandemic.

Economist at Trinity College Dublin and author of the report, Ronan Lyons says supply outside of Dublin has dropped off dramatically.
