The funds will aid the group in funding their core running costs and welcome in as many children as possible
Kildare's Sensational Kids has been awarded €10,000 by the Ireland Funds network.
The funds will assist the social enterprise in delivering vital supports for children with additional needs, and ensuring that their needs are met and accessible.
With a child developmental centre in Kildare Town, Sensational Kids have welcomed the funding.
Speaking on this morning's Kildare Today programme, fundraising manager Joy Booth said, "the real challenge is keeping the lights on, [and this award], and makes sure we are able to welcome in as many children as possible and provide all the services that [Sensational Kids] can."
Further information on Sensational Kids can be found on their website or contacted on info@sensationalkids.ie and on the Kildare branch number on (045) 520 900.
