At 6:43 am, on Sunday, April 14th, a well covered-up female in her late 20s entered the premises and held up a knife to staff.
GardaÍ are investigating after a woman with a knife attempted to rob two stores in the space of fifteen minutes.
The first incident took place at Applegreen service station Dublin Rd, Celdbridge on Sunday, April 14th.
At 6:43 am, a well covered-up female in her late 20s entered the premises and held up a knife to the staff.
She demanded money from the till.
Fifteen minutes later, the same woman appeared at a shop in Ardclough Village.
She banged on the door, alerting the store owner.
The store owner noticed the woman standing outside with a large knife, demanding the till from the shop.
The store owner called GardaÍ.
The female fled the premises in a small black car.
GardaÍ have urged people in either area at the time who may have dashcam footage or noticed anything suspicious to contact them.
In particular, if they saw a woman in her late twenties driving a small black car in the Ardclough area.
