John Kane from Kildare/West Wicklow SPCA says they’ve been doing everything to keep their animals warm.
The charity is currently caring for over 20 dogs and 30 cats.

The animals, according to Gardai, were left out "constantly" in severe cold weather with no shelter.
They are now in the care of a sub-contractor of Kildare County Council.
