Locals in Athy are being sought to participate in a wellbeing and health programme later this year.
Connect5 was launched in 2023 by the RCSI in association with Slaintecare and the HSE.
The free programme begins in March and involves providing people access to a free smartphone app that connects them with a health coach.
The health coach can support individuals to make small changes to their lifestyle that might benefit their health.
A showcase event takes place at the Athy Recreation Community Hall this Saturday between 2 and 3.30pm.
Petra Radford Devlin, who took part in last year's programme, had this to say on this morning's 'Kildare Today'.
