Male Teen Arrested In Relation To Serious Assault At Electric Picnic

Incident occurred on 2nd September

Portlaoise Gardai have charged a male in his late teens, relating to a serious assault which occurred at Electric Picnic last month.

The male was arrested on Wednesday, 5th October.

He was taken to Portlaoise Garda station, where he was detained.

The male was charged on Wednesday night.

He was released on bail, and will appear before Portlaoise District Court on 27th October.

The incident occurred at the festival, in Stradbally, on Friday, 2nd September.

Gardai have confirmed investigations are ongoing.
