A man will appear in court shortly charged in connection with suspected carjackings in West Dublin.
On Saturday night a man in his 30s attempted to hijack a car in at Grange Castle in Clondalkin but failed.
He managed to hijack a different driver from their car, before being chased by Gardaí.
He was stopped in Tallaght and arrested.
He will now appear before Blanchardstown District Court this morning at half 10.
