Happened on the afternoon of Sunday, 17th July
A man has been arrested over a serious assault on a woman in her 20s, in Monasterevin last Sunday afternoon.
The man - also in his 20s - is being questioned at Kildare Garda Station, where he can be held for up to 24 hours.
Gardai are appealing to anyone with video footage, who was in the Monasterevin area on Sunday afternoon between 1pm & 5.20pm, to contact them.
Detectives say in particular, they would like to speak with two women who assisted the injured woman.
