Man Behind Kildare Town Brothel Jailed For Nine Years On Multiple Charges, Including Child Abuse Material

Ilamar Rodrigues Ribeiro with an address in Goias, Brazil, also pleaded guilty to money laundering and possessing child abuse material.

A 54-year-old man has been jailed for nine years for running brothels around the country, including in Kildare Town.

The court heard the accused had rented out properties under false pretenses and then used them as brothels.

Detective Chief Superintendent Colm Noonan, praised the victims for coming forward.
