Gardai are appealing for witnesses
Gardaí are appealing for witnesses following a fatal assault that is understood to have occurred sometime between Saturday, 6th January and the early hours of Sunday morning, 7th January.
At approximately 3am, Gardaí were alerted by National Ambulance Service personnel to reports of a male, aged in his 30s, with serious injuries at an apartment in Lucan.
The man was taken to Connolly Hospital Blanchardstown for treatment of his injuries.
He passed away yesterday evening at approximately 6.30pm.
An incident room has been established at Lucan Garda Station and Gardaí are appealing to the public for information in relation to this incident.
