The incident happened in Ballinderry on Thursday morning
A man in his 70s has died following a single-vehicle crash on the L2226 in Ballinderry near Moyvalley yesterday morning.
It's understood the man was driving a truck when it was involved in a collision and he was pronounced dead at the scene.
His body was removed from the scene to hospital for a post mortem examination.
No other injuries were reported.
The road was closed for technical examination, and has since reopened.
Gardaí are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed this collision to contact them.
Any road users who may have camera footage (including dash-cam) and were travelling in the area between 4.30am and 5.30am yesterday morning, are asked to make this footage available to investigating Gardaí.
