The suspect is described as being foreign, wearing a red hat, jeans, a black jacket with a design along the bottom, and a checked shirt underneath.
A woman was sprayed in the face with an unknown substance during an assault in Maynooth.
The alleged incident happened at around 6.15pm last Wednesday, 26th November, on the Straffan Road near the Maxol filling station.
Gardaí told Kfm News that the man approached the woman and sprayed her with an unknown liquid from an aerosol can before walking away along the Celbridge Road.
The suspect is described as being foreign, wearing a red hat, jeans, a black jacket with a design along the bottom, and a checked shirt underneath.
He was also using crutches at the time.
The woman was not injured, but Gardaí are appealing for witnesses or anyone who recognises the description to come forward.
