University College Dublin remains to have Ireland's most expensive on-campus accommodation
Maynooth University is charging up to €6,353 for student accommodation ahead of the 2025/26 academic year.
The maximum price of €6,353 is for a single room with an en-suite bathroom, located in River, Rye Hall and Courtyard.
The minimum price it is charging is €4,761 for a single room with shared bathrooms, located in Rye Hall and Village.
University College Dublin remains to have Ireland's most expensive on-campus accommodation, with an en-suite room in Village 3, located on the Belfied campus, comes in at a cost of €11,888.
The cheapest option for accommodation on the Dublin 4 campus is €5,722, a shared bedroom located in Village 1.
Trinity College Dublin has the second most expensive on-campus accommodation, costing between €6,066 and €10,085.
The Competition and Consumer Protection Commission (CCPC) has issued a warning to be cautious of rental scams ahead of the new academic year, citing that that about one third of all accommodation fraud reports occur during August and September, with 34% of victims aged under 25, and 66% aged under 33.
