In the Hall beside Frawley's.
Monasterevin Women's shed opens this morning.
"It's a really good news day in Monasterevin.
"It provides a safe space for women where they can come together.
"Sometimes women who have children feel a sense of loss, or if they are widowed.
"We offer courses in car maintenance, menopause courses and arts and crafts.
It's for women who are aged 18 and over.
"The idea of the women's shed is that the skills are shared among the other women and are not tutor dependent," she insisted.
It is open today beside Monasterevin Council Hall, beside Frawley's.
