Motorist In Kildare Detected At 2.5 Times The Drink-Driving Limit.

They have been arrested.

A driver in Kildare is facing a court appearance.

Naas Roads Policing were operating a checkpoint in Clane when they arrested at driver.

The motorist subsequently failed a roadside breath test.

A further test found that they were 2.5 times over the legal limit for alcohol intake.

Gardai say "The driver was charged with court to follow."
