Khalid will be attending a vigil outside Naas Courthouse between 7-8pm tonight.
"It was the worst day of my life."
Speaking on Kildare Today on Kfm Radio, Belfast-born Palestinian Khalid El-Estal has told of how his wife, Ashwak Jendia, was killed following a bomb-blast in Gaza.
Khalid's two young children, Ali (4) and one-year-old Sara, remain in a hospital in the southern city of Khan Yunis and are unable to leave to be with their father.
Khalid had been working in Saudi Arabia to support his family when the region descended into war.
Describing his wife, he said she was full of life, "loved makeup and looking after her skin" but most importantly she "adored her children".
Recounting his wife's last moment's, he said she died in pain while in intensive care, suffering burns on around 60 per cent of her body, especially her face.
