Parents in County Kildare raising bilingual children can attend informative talks this autumn as part of the "Let’s Talk about Parenting" series organized by Kildare County libraries.
Dr Francesca La Morgia from Mother Tongues will discuss key aspects of bilingual language development, addressing common concerns such as language preference, delayed speech, and how to nurture multiple languages.
The talks will take place at libraries in Celbridge, Maynooth, Naas, and Newbridge. Dr La Morgia will also explore the cognitive, social, and educational benefits of bilingualism, offering strategies to support children's linguistic growth.
