The project can now proceed to the tender stage
The Department of Education has confirmed that Newtown National School has been given permission to proceed to the tender stage with its plans for their school extension.
The extension is funded under the Additional School Accommodation Scheme.
It will consist of 2 new special educational needs (SEN) classrooms to provide special classes for children with special educational needs.
