Gardaí in north Kildare have arrested nine people as part of a targeted crackdown on retail crime.
The day of action took place yesterday under Operation Táirge - an ongoing initiative aimed at tackling shoplifting and related offences in the run-up to Christmas.
All nine individuals have been charged and are due before the courts in the coming weeks.
