The price ceiling for new homes in the county remains at €475,000.
The Government says more first-time buyers will now qualify for help under the First Home Scheme.
Price limits have been increased by €25,000 in 17 counties and local authority areas following a scheduled review.
But Kildare has not been included.
The price ceiling for new homes in the county remains at €475,000.
This is despite the fact that new homes in parts of Kildare - particularly commuter towns close to Dublin - are increasingly being marketed at, or above, the €475,000 limit.
By comparison, the ceiling in Dublin and Wicklow stands at €500,000.
Neighbouring counties, including Meath, were among those to benefit from higher price ceilings.
A spokesperson for the First Home Scheme told Kfm News that following a detailed review, it was decided not to increase the property price ceiling for Kildare at this time.
They said the ceiling had already been raised in both January and July of last year, with all limits to be reviewed again in mid-2026.
The First Home Scheme helps buyers bridge the gap between their mortgage, deposit and the cost of a new home, by taking an equity stake in the property.
Housing Minister James Browne says the limits are designed to support buyers without pushing prices higher.
