Fine Gael Cllr and Mayor of the Kildare Newbridge MD Cllr Peggy O'Dwyer said the issue seems to be happening because of low water supply at the Allen Reservoir.
A local woman from The Meadows in Newbridge said she is "sick and tired" of water issues.
Natasha Enright said that for a number of weeks she has had no adequate water supply.
She said water pressure is constantly dropping, with her unable to wash her work uniform, while her children also struggle to shower.
She said the situation is "extremely stressful" and that sometimes there is no water to wash floors or brush her teeth.
