Councillor designate for Naas, Bob Quinn says the Green Party in Kildare are in a very strong position right now
The new Green Party councillor designate for Naas has said he will begin his political life committed to opening the De Burgh Estate in Naas.
Bob Quinn said the park has the potential to be one of the best Urban Parks in Europe, but that it has been kept under lock and key.
He said he is committed to reinstating The Coombe antenatal clinic in Kildare, the hospital is currently appraising sites within the county.
€20 million has been ring fenced for the Pathfinder project which Quinn said "could transform the town," but he insisted that the project is time sensitive and action needed to be taken now.
