So far more than 3,400 drivers have been detected speeding, while 139 motorists have been arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
The highest speeds recorded included 97 kilometres an hour in a 50 zone on Firhouse Road in Dublin and 127 kilometres an hour in a 100 zone in Donegal.
Two speeding offences were recorded in Kildare, one vehicle was travelling at 81kmh in a 60kmh zone on the L3002 in Pluckerstown, Kilmeage, and another going 137kmh in a 120kmh zone on the M7 in Lewistown, Naas.
More than 260 drivers were also caught using a mobile phone or not wearing a seatbelt.
Three people have died on roads during the first four days of the operation, bringing the total number of road fatalities this year to thirty-seven.
Gardaí is urging motorists to slow down and obey and road safety guidelines.
