A man in his 30s has been rushed to hospital following a serious assault in Naas.
The incident occurred shortly after 2.45am on North Main Street.
The man was brought to Beaumont Hospital to be treated for his injuries, which have been described as serious.
A man in his twenties was arrested for public order offences, however has since been released.
Gardaí has said the scene has been preserved for examination and investigations are ongoing.
Any persons who were in the vicinity of North Main Street, Naas, between 2:20am and 3am on Sunday 15th March 2026 and who may have video footage (including dash-cam) are asked to make this footage available to investigating Gardaí.
