Over €4 Million In Suspected Cocaine Seized In Kildare And Wicklow

Two males aged in their 30s and 40s and one female in her 40s were arrested, and are currently detained at garda stations in Kildare and Dublin

Over €4 million in suspected cocaine has been seized in Kildare and Wexford, following an intelligence-led operation.

Yesterday, as a result of ongoing investigations targeting organised crime activity under Operation TARA, an operation was put in place with personnel attached to the Garda National Drugs and Organised Crime Bureau and the Revenue Customs Service.

This operation involved searches of a business premises in Co. Kildare and residential addresses in Wexford.

It resulted in the seizure of a total of 58kg of suspected cocaine, with an estimated value of €4,060,000.

Two males aged in their 30s and 40s and one female in her 40s were arrested, and are currently detained at garda stations in Kildare and Dublin.

Investigations are ongoing.
