Kildare County Council is developing the hub at the former Model School on Dublin Road
The facility will include a 16-station learning and demonstration kitchen, a timeshare incubation kitchen, a food discover centre and hot desking facilities.
The progressions has been warmly welcomed by Labour Cllr., and Athy Cathaoireach, Aoife Breslin, who has been speaking to Kildare Today.
Cllr. Breslin joined Eoin Beatty and Clem Ryan on Tuesday's edition of the programme, where she also discussed all of her motions before the May meeting of the Athy Municipal District.
