Potential "disruption" and "disorder" at an information event about a proposed biomethane plant at Ballyvass between Kilkea and Castledermot has resulted it in being cancelled.
The event was due to be held at the Clanard Court Hotel on Wednesday between 2pm and 7pm.

In a lengthy statement to Kfm, a spokesperson for CycleO said all environmental and planning considerations would be taken into account.
Plans have yet to be lodged for the plant.
Some locals expressed fears about possible explosions and the facility's impact on house prices, issues that Cycle0 sought to address.
