Principal Says All Students Safe After Road Traffic Incident Involving School Bus Near Rathangan

Principal Paul Murphy rushed to the scene and said everyone on board is safe.

All students are safe following a road traffic incident involving a school bus in Rathangan this morning.

Speaking to Kfm News, the principal of Ardscoil Rath Iomgháin  confirmed there were no injuries after the bus - which transports pupils to the school - was involved in a road traffic incident on the Kilmeague to Allenwood road.

Principal Paul Murphy rushed to the scene and said everyone on board is safe.

He said the school is liaising with parents to provide reassurance.

The bus involved is understood to be a Fosters coach, which regularly serves Rathangan Post Primary School.

The incident is expected to cause traffic disruption in the area this morning.
