An open day is taking place at The Wonderful Barn, Leixlip on Sunday
Kildare County Council in collaboration with a design team is developing an Part 8 planning application for the conservation and refurbishment with potential new build of The Wonderful Barn, Leixlip.
This project aims to identify the conservation works and refurbishment with the potential new build of The Wonderful Barn.
It will incorporate the surrounding historic buildings, walled garden and the landscape development of the 20ha Park adjacent.
An initial phase of public consultation is underway, and Kildare County Council is encouraging people to engage, outlining how you use the park and give to your views about the potential future use of the site.
An open day will take place at The Wonderful Barn, Leixlip, on Sunday 13th November from 10.30am – 4.30pm.
Members of the public are encouraged to come along on Sunday and have their say.
The design team comprising Lead Architects Metropolitan Workshop, Conservation Architect Howley Hayes Cooney and Landscape Architects Aecom Landscape will be in attendance on the day to hear your views and insights.
A survey form will be available on the Open Day and an online version will be opened on 13th November, details will be posted on Kildare County Council website, where you can give your views and provide feedback.
The survey will be open until Wednesday 14th December 2022.
Kildare County Council has said it is vital to have public participation in this process to help inform the outcome.
