She was successful at the Kildare Rose selection night last night
Catherine Cunningham from Rathangan will represent Kildare in the 2024 Rose of Tralee after she was successful at the Kildare Rose selection night in Barberstown Castle last night.
Ms. Cunningham is 24 years old, has an older brother and three younger sisters and grew up on a farm in Rathangan.
She says she has "always embraced the importance of family bonds and community spirit" and enjoy playing a traditional card game called ‘25’ on Monday nights with locals.
The Rose of Tralee this year runs from the 16th to the 20th of August.
