An additional 146 people have died in Britain, within 28 days of a positive Covid-19 test.

A record-breaking 87,656 Covid-19 cases were recorded in the UK yesterday.

That's an increase of approximately 10,000 cases in one day.

On 15th December 77,741 cases were record in Britain.

Vaccination

Over 745,000 boosters and third doses were delivered on Wednesday - also a daily record.

Journalist Rob Mulhern, a Naas man living in London, spoke with Clem Ryan on 'Kildare Today'.

Mulhern says people are reacting to restrictions "quite well" in the UK.

He has seen a shift in that mindset, and says people are now taking person responsibility, using their own good judgement.

Mulhern says he knows that many Irish people were surprised by the "looseness" of restrictions in the UK.
