Sleeping Resident Targeted: Homeowner Wakes To Find Front Door Open After Early Morning Burglary

The incident happened between 4:00 a.m. and 7:50 a.m.

Gardaí in Celbridge are investigating a burglary that occurred at a house in the Ardrath Estate on Monday, January 6th.

The incident happened between 4:00 a.m. and 7:50 a.m.

The homeowner discovered their front door open upon waking.

Items stolen include a wallet and keys.

Gardaí are appealing for witnesses who may have seen suspicious activity in the area during this time.

Residents are urged to check footage from doorbell cameras or other security devices for any unusual activity around their homes.

Anyone with footage or information related to the incident is asked to contact Celbridge Garda Station at 01-6288222.
