Warning valid Sunday from 4am until 8am.

Met Eireann has issued a severe weather warning for rain for Kildare in the early hours of the morning.

The status Orange warning will be valid from 4am until 8 am.

Intense rain is expected, up to 50 millimetres could fall, and squalls are likely.

A status Yellow warning for 'all of Ireland' is valid from 1 am.
