Met Éireann has warned of possible local flooding
Road-users in eastern areas are being urged to take extra care this morning, following heavy downpours overnight.
A status orange rainfall warning will remain in place for Louth, Meath, Wicklow and Dublin until 2 o'clock this afternoon.
Kildare and Monaghan are under a yellow alert, whilst Met Éireann has warned of possible local flooding.
