Tánaiste Micheál Martin told Kildare Today that the Government is listening to concerns about Ireland's immigration policies.
Commenting on migrants entering Ireland with no documents, he said some airlines have been fined, with additional Gardai deployed to deal with the issue.
He said accommodation provided to Ukrainian refugees would not be "desirable or sought after" by Irish people.
Meanwhile, the Party's Dublin TD, John Lahart, has been tasked with gathering suggestions from party members on how best to deal with migrants arriving into Ireland.
