A firm has bought 80% of a new housing estate in Maynooth.
Investment funds buying up completed housing estates is "unacceptable" in Ireland, according to the Taoiseach.
Micheál Martin was reacting to opposition pressure to act to prevent these funds buying homes in bulk meant for first time buyers.
It comes after an investment fund bought up 135 homes, out of 175, in Mullen Park in Maynooth.
