Gardaí are appealing for witnesses to the crash, which happened at Citywest, shortly after 8pm on Sunday night.
A teenager killed when his scrambler was in collision with a car in Citrywest at the weekend has been named locally as 18-year-old father of one, Jason Monks.
Family and friends have paid tribute to him on social media as a wonderful father and partner - and a 'gofundme' page has been set up for his family.
Gardaí are appealing for witnesses to the crash, which happened at Citywest, shortly after 8pm on Sunday night.
Anyone who was travelling in the area at the time, especially those with dash-cam footage, are asked to come forward.
