Almost a quarter move to pledged accommodation
800 Ukrainian refugees are settling in to new accommodation, after leaving the students halls in Maynooth University over the weekend.
Around 23% have moved to pledged accommodation, but hotels and temporary facilities are also being used.
Speaking to Kildare Today on KFM, Liam O’Dwyer General Secretary of the Irish Red Cross says more housing is key.
