Gardaí are urging the public not to approach the occupants and to contact them immediately with any information
Gardaí were alerted this evening after a car linked to an alleged attempted robbery in Naas was spotted in the Newcastle area.
The vehicle - a silver Peugeot with the registration KP10 SUU - had fled the scene of an incident at the Osprey Hotel.
At around 9.40pm last night, three individuals allegedly attempted a robbery in the hotel’s underground car park. When a staff member approached them, one of the group allegedly produced a knife.
The suspects left in the Peugeot, which was then spotted this evening.
Gardaí are urging the public not to approach the occupants and to contact them immediately with any information.
