He was stopped by three youths, verbally abused and assaulted, before his work tablet and wallet were stolen.
Gardaí are investigating an assault and robbery in Leixlip, which happened in broad daylight last week.
A man was attacked while walking along the river in the Ryevale estate at around 1.45pm on Wednesday, January 21st, while on his lunch break.
He was stopped by three youths, verbally abused and assaulted, before his work tablet and wallet were stolen.
Two of the suspects are described as being around 5 foot 10, with blonde hair, wearing black North Face jumpers, with one reported to have a tattoo on the left side of his face.
The third youth is described as around 5 foot 5, with dark hair, wearing dark clothing, with a compass logo on the sleeve of his jacket.
All three are believed to be in their late teens.
Gardaí say the incident caused a significant shock to the victim and are appealing to anyone who was in the area at the time to contact Leixlip Garda Station on 01 666 7800.
