World-Class Transport Infrastructure "Vital" For Quality Of Life In Kildare.

IBEC says 20% of adults here have commutes of over an hour.

IBEC says the delivery of world-class transport infrastructure is "vital" to the quality of life in Kildare and the Greater Dublin Area.

One in five adults in Kildare has a daily commuting time of in excess of an hour.

Government is developing a new transport framework.

Aidan Sweeney is IBEC's Senior Regulatory Executive.

Speaking to Kildare Today, he says this should take account of localised needs, per county, but also connectivity between counties.

He joined Eoin Beatty on Wednesday's edition of the programme.
