Yellow Rain Warning For Kildare As Flood Risk Being Monitored, Says Council

The alert comes into effect from 11 o’clock tonight and runs until 11pm tomorrow.

Kildare County Council’s Severe Weather Assessment Team has attended a Met Éireann briefing ahead of a Status Yellow rain warning for the county.

The alert comes into effect from 11 o’clock tonight and runs until 11pm tomorrow.

A separate River Flood Advisory will be in place from 6am Wednesday until Friday morning due to saturated ground and persistent rainfall.

The council says conditions are being closely monitored amid the risk of localised flooding.
